Neutral Setup
Hand and Club in Neutral Golf Setup Position
When the post of the SwingPilot is set in line with the leading edge of the club-head, the SwingPilot is in the Neutral Golf Setup Position.
With the base of the V created by thumb and forefinger (index finger) of your dominant hand against the post of the SwingPilot, the palm of the dominant hand will be at the same angle as the leading edge of the club-head. And it will be in the Neutral Setup Position every time, whether the dominant hand is open or closed.
With your arms extended forward and the palm of your dominant hand perpendicular to the center of your shoulder line, your hand (on the grip) and the club are in the Neutral Setup Position.
When the palm of your dominant hand is square to the target, the club-head will be square to the target as well.
To get maximum effectiveness and club control from the SwingPilot, we recommend that you start each swing training session in the Neutral Golf Setup Position. That will give you a better understanding of the swing motion.
